Burnham Market, Ringstead Road: Drainage Works - Road Closure
I am writing to inform you Norfolk County Council intends to carry out essential drainage improvement works on Ringstead Road, Burnham market at its junction with Whiteway Road and Docking Road. This work is being done to help resolve the current issue of surface water flooding the road during heavy rainfall. The works are planned to take place from Tuesday 11 September 2023 and are expected to take 2 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
To allow the works to be carried out safely, will be closed to vehicular traffic. Access to properties within the road closures will be maintained throughout. Pedestrian access will also be maintained with barriers in place where necessary. There will be signed diversion route in place as shown below:
Ringstead Road, Dalegate Road, A149 Main Road and Whiteway Road (clockwise and anti-clockwise)
The County Council thanks people for their patience while this drainage improvement work is carried out.
The work which will cost £29,500 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
